Overview

In this project case study, I will be sharing my experience redesigning an employee workspace software used daily for customer analysis and approval. The goal was to create a more streamlined and integrated solution that would simplify the team's workflow by centralizing key information in one place.

Throughout the design process, I focused on enhancing the software’s interface to improve ease of use and ensure that all essential tools and data were readily accessible. This allowed the team to efficiently interact with dashboards and analysis tables, making their daily data analysis tasks more manageable.

The software's redesign integrates all necessary elements into a single platform, ensuring a seamless workflow for customer analysis, approval, and interaction with complex data sets.

Process

Breaking down the project

The redesign process for the employee workspace software involved several key stages. Firstly, I conducted user interviews and gathered feedback from the team to identify pain points with the existing system. This research provided insights into the challenges employees faced when navigating dashboards and working with analysis tables.

Building on strong foundations

Using the research insights, I developed user personas and created wireframes to reimagine the structure of the software. I focused on creating a dashboard that presents key data in a clear and organized manner. After wireframing, I moved to high-fidelity prototypes, which were tested by end-users to ensure usability and smooth interaction with the new system.

Collaborating with the internal team

During the entire process, I worked closely with the software development team and other internal stakeholders. This collaboration ensured that the redesign not only met the team’s functional needs but also aligned with technical capabilities and company standards.

Outcome

The final result of the redesign was a more intuitive and efficient employee workspace software that greatly improved the team’s ability to perform customer analysis and approvals.

Users now have access to a centralized dashboard that integrates all key data, enabling faster and more accurate decision-making. The streamlined interface reduced complexity and improved the overall workflow, leading to increased productivity and satisfaction among employees.
