Overview

In this project case study, I will be sharing my experience designing a mobile app for an auto repair stores in Arizona. The goal was to create an app that improve the customer experience and optimize the stores service management.

Throughout the design process, I focused on creating an intuitive user interface that would enhance the overall user experience and encourage engagement with the app.

The app allows users to schedule services directly from their cell phones, such as maintenance, repairs and inspections. In addition, customers can exchange messages in real time with the workshop, facilitating communication about service details.

Also offers additional features, such as sending personalized discount coupons to customers, helping to increase loyalty and encourage future visits. Another important feature is the possibility of checking the status of the service in real time, allowing customers to follow the progress of work on their vehicles.

Process

Breaking down the project

The app's design process was focused on creating an intuitive and efficient experience for users, aligned with the needs of the workshop network and its customers. We began with a discovery phase, in which we conducted interviews with customers and workshop managers to understand their expectations, challenges and how the app could add value to their daily lives.

Building on strong foundations

Based on this research, I developed user personas and created wireframes to map out the app's functionality and structure. From there, I created a high-fidelity prototype and made validations with the client to refine the design and improve the user experience.

Collaborating with the internal team

Throughout the process, I worked closely with the Greulich's team to ensure that the app met their requirements and aligned with their brand identity.

Outcome

The final outcome of the Greulich's mobile app was a user-friendly and engaging digital product that exceeded the client’s expectations. Resulting in a contract extension for us to redesign their institutional website.

This project resulted in a significant increase in customer satisfaction and in the operational efficiency of the stores, consolidating Greulich's as a leader in innovation and customer service in the automotive sector in Arizona.
